INTRODUCTION 

The Ross and Cromarty area of the Highlands has a long tradition of nurturing traditional musicians; especially young musicians and the Highland Pipes and DThe Ross and Cromarty Tartanrums are at the heart of this tradition. The Ross and Cromarty Pipes & Drums School is dedicated to giving our young musicians the space to increase the quality of this musical tradition. Our own tartan, symbolic of the colours in the landscape of Ross and Cromarty, from its Firths and Lochs through farmland and forestry to the High Tops and our expansive skies, is also a reflection of space and quality found in the Highlands.

The Band can be contacted through Alness Academy, Dalmore Road, Alness, Ross-shire, Scotland.
